Today it wasn't raining but VERY sunny, so I decided to take the kids and my camera out for a walk in the neighborhood. It was in the upper 90's and, oh so humid! I wasn't sure if the kids, more in particular, Keilana, were going to make it back. Not even 5 minutes into the walk, Keilana was complaining how hot it was and that she wanted to go back home. I tried to make it more fun by playing I-spy and more enduring by bringing along water for them. She was quick to be distracted but also quick to be reminded just how hot and humid it was. I'll post pictures of the kids on our walk later; but for now, here some more of my photos. I've mainly focused on portraits but decided to try my hand out photographing nature. I have to say it's a lot easier and less stressful but also not as fun! Of course, I edited MOST of them to add special effects; however, there are a few that didn't need much editing. I'm working to where all my pictures are sharp and colorful w/o editing b/c that is extremely time consuming.

I really LOVE them all, but the third one from the top (with the butterfly?) is my favorite. The shade of green in the last one is awesome. You can really capture the great intensity of all colors that our loving Heavenly Father gives us in photography. Keep up the good work!! LOVE Mama (Oh, Tyler said his favorite ones are the yellow one and the purple one with the pinecones :)
I really like the first one (purple one) and the second one (yellow one). Love you Auntie Vanessa! LOVE Allison
Beautiful! I know exactly what you mean...taking all that time editing, yeah I would like to do the same and try to get the picture right the first time and no time consuming edits.
But how do you edit your pictures with such vibrant colors??? I really like them!
Those are cool Ness! I want to get an original from you and blow it up to frame it! I am decorating my place with modern and comp pictures! I really like the black and white ones!
Which one(s)? I'm glad that you like my work enough to frame and display them in your home. Thank you for the compliment! AND, I can get them printed off for you in MUCH better quality for a lot cheaper. I just need a $12 minimum order. Let me know which ones. I'll give you prices on sizes posted in FB inbox, stay tuned. If you are going to display my work, it has to be a good quality print. :) Sorry, I've a got a rep to uphold. lol. Seriously, though, there is a difference between printing companies. No worries, it still very reasonably priced.
