I'm going to try to keep things updated. For those who are interested, it would be fun to follow us along and I wouldn't get behind on the blogging! The ride was long, 19 hours, but it wasn't bad. Jon drove mostly at night, I drove a lot the next day, the whole state of Kansas for one. We made good time and arrived to Colorado Springs Saturday evening about 6:00 pm. The kids were amazing, they were so good and hardly complained. I was very proud of them. Yesterday, we took it easy, rested up, and mostly enjoyed one anothers company with Auntie Jamie and Isabella (Uncle Chris had to go into work). We decided to take the kids on a walk and get out of the house for some fresh air. The weather is nice and cool, cloudy here and there, but it isn't the 80 degree weather we were enduring in GA. Here are a few pictures from our walk in Colorado Springs.
My camera was tucked away tight in the van and wasn't conveniently accessible during our ride over so I used Jon's camera phone. I will upload those to my computer and post them as soon as I get a chance.
