This Is It...

All or nothing...who knows what the future hold for Jon at CCE. I think I posted about Coke buying out all North American offices from Coca-Cola Enterprises (CCE) and the transition will take affect in October (google it if not). Yes, right when the baby is due. So this now makes CCE a European company based in America--doesn't seem right. Jon learned today that his VP of the company was offered a position in London and he accepted. So that basically tells the employees at coke that the "company" will be moving to London and no longer in the States. What does this mean for CCE employees and Jon? Speculation is that some will get offered a job in London, everyone else is just out of luck and will receive a severance package. Jon is currently looking for other jobs but has expressed interest in transferring to London. I'm down as long as I can bring my family with me. So only time will tell at this point.

Maybe this is why we decided to put our house on the market in January, only to find out in February that Coke bought out CCE-American. This is an interesting year for us, lots of changes, quite a bit of unknown and uncertainty, a leap of faith and a test in faith. Though I get overwhelmed at times, I still have a good feeling that we will be fine and there IS a plan.
