My intentions were to find digital scrapbooking supplies online to create a header for my blog. Well, that has turned into this and I can't stop. I'm about to start my fifth page and I just can't give it up. I'm needing toothpicks right now to keep my eyes open, yet here I am. I NEVER could do a traditional scrapbook, I wouldn't know where to begin, not to mention that the supplies are endlessly expensive and takes up so much space. And then there is the mess of getting it out and putting it away each time--I just could never get into it. Going digital, as everything seems to these days, has aloud me to organize papers, embellishments, ribbons & bows, and Alpha/Numbers all in one portable, compact hard drive. Another upside? Everything is reusable! Can't beat that with a stick, I tell ya.
The first one was already put together, the other 3 are my creations. They aren't all complete in script/writing, obviously, but the layout is done. Anyway, TA DA!
So far, Jon's page has to be my favorite. It simple, masculine, and elegant. I can't help but stare at this page in awe. We were so young but Jon started out as an amazing father and hasn't stopped! I ADORE all three of these pictures for reasons that I'm sure I don't have to say--you can see it for yourselves. I'm just so happy to be starting this, allowing my children to finally have a book to flip through of their life instead of all pictures being on the computer.
Ever since my newest nephew, Ryan, has been born, Keilana is all about babies. She pretends to be a baby, she pretends to be a mommy to "baby Kayden", she enjoys spending time with Ryan and talking to him, and finally, she LOVES to look at pictures of her when she was a baby and hear the stories. I can't wait to start printing these off and putting a book together for her! Anyone know of a place I can get them printed off cheaper than $2.99 without losing color and image quality? So far, I'm looking to print off at Costco, I true their print to be fairly accurate, but at this rate, I'm going to be printing off 50 soon and that will get expensive!
Anyone else that digital scrapbooks and has some advice, by all means, leave me a comment!
