Of course only a parents can be excited about successful attempts at potty training. Today was a turning point for Kayden--his first time with no. 2 in the potty! This morning he came downstairs without a diaper on and a clean one in hand. He hasn't been liking the feel of a dirty (no. 2) diaper for some time and REFUSES to sit down in it. And just recently wants to be completely dry. So I was afraid that he had taken his diaper off becuase of this, as I headed upstairs expecting the worst. However, I happened upon a diaper that was barely wet! He is showing all the signs, so, I decided to go all out and put him in some undies. Sure enough, so far, he has told each time he has needed to do his buisness! I'm so excited about this, a momentus occassion for us! I'm taking his lead which seems he is doing this quite easily and quickly to be 2 years old and a boy. Maybe in the next 2 weeks we'll have an accident free, potty trained little boy!

Wow! Go Kayden! Lucky you...especially that he doesn't have bowel issues and will get ALL his business done on the potty!
Allison just likes to keep me guessing...sometimes she's all excited to go sit on the potty, but other times, it's a firm "NO." That's Allison for ya!
congrats!!! what's your secret? do you think it has something to do with lana being potty trained and kayden whating her do it? we're not having any success with jeff and it's frustrating. i hope he'll catch on soon. his third b-day is coming up soon.
im jealous you're oficially out of diapers now!!! no more having to spend lots of money on that:) i can't wait till caisen is potty trained!
Your post really encouraged me to work with Anna on potty training and she's a PRO NOW!! She even told me that she needed to pee pee on the pottyy in the middle of church! We're almost completely there! Only diapers at night and nap time!
