Family Is Another Name For Love

Through all my struggles, my ups and downs, good moods, bad moods, differences, disagreements, my family is always there for me and supports me. More specifically, I seriously have the best mother and sister EVER. Their comments on my blog always brighten my day, especially ones that are personal to me. Mama is just a phone call away and is always there to lend an ear and help me through my problems, she's such a good listener! My sister is the best chat buddy! She has spent hours laughing with me online, giving me good advice and helping me as well when I am down. We had an awesome childhood together and have always been close and that relationship has continued into our adulthood. I wanted them to know how much I love them and appreciate all they do for me even though at times, it might seem I am ungrateful.

By nature I am moody and a pessimist and those characteristics have been accentuated due to the hormonal emotional roller coasters that I have experienced since who knows for how long. But they still love me, are there when I need them; and I'm hoping that I can be a better daughter and sister to them now that I have answers and a solution.

I know everyone can read my comments but I wanted to post them because they mean THAT much to me I wanted them to know how much I love them and appreciate them for who they are!

"Vanessa I'm so happy that you are feeling so much better. I too was worried about you and not knowing what was wrong. We did have a small clue since your symptoms were the same as mine. I'm glad we all convinced you to go to your doctor and she was able to help you. Thank you Heavenly Father for answering our prayers! I'll be up as soon as I can to help you get caught up on household cleaning and stuff. Grandma is back in the hospital and I'm going to stay with her tomorrow afternoon and tomorrow night. I'll try to come help before we make our trip to the cabin. Love ya so much--glad you are feeling better. Let me know if you need anything before I can get there. LOVE, Mama"

Thursday of this past week was a VERY BAD day for me, the worst since I started on the medicine. I spent probably 45 minutes or more crying to my mom and talking with her about everything that was bothering me. My sister was at her house and heard parts of the conversation. This is the comment she left me that night.

"I am so sorry you are having to deal with this trial right now. At least the meds seem to be kicking in quickly. Just hang in there through the ups and downs and remember that you are strong. Heavenly Father won't give more than you can handle!"

Vanessa, THANK YOU. Your comments were so sweet. I am so thankful that I can be here for you! You know that I will be, anytime of the day or night. What a wonderful daughter you are!! It has always been a blesssing to be your mother (even with the ups and downs). You have an awesome spirit that is growing by leaps and bounds. You ARE strong and you will get through this trial and that emotional rollercoaster that you have been on. Every time that I see you in that valley, I can see this stronger, more faithful woman emerge up the mountain again. Hang in there. The road seems long, but soon you will see the journey and the destination were well worth it. You and Wendy have always been every parent's greatest dream of what their children would be like. Daddy and I are so very proud of you both, and are so thankful that you and Wendy are close and are there for each other. Both of you are wonderful wives and mothers. (Hope you are able to come to the cabin next week and enjoy some time together. Daddy and I will give you and Wendy some quiet time and some extra sleep time while we take the kids :) Please call if we can help. We LOVE you. Mama

I'm sorry to hear about your bad days/last few weeks. It's a huge blessing to have your mom and sister close by, and I second the the title of your entry :) Family really is another word for love. Let me know if you need anything, I know I'm not super close by, but I'll at least pray for you! hang in there! :) Love ya!
