Another Princess Party!

She still loves Disney Princess and has quite the collection of "Princess" toys ranging from a jump rope, to the Princess dress up costumes. I could go all day listing the items she has. We decided to keep it small and more intimate this year for many reasons and I'm so glad we did. I had a WONDERFUL day with her and spoiled her. Since it was Monday, our daily routine was normal for the morning but we skipped naps, took Kayden to Nanny and had the rest of the afternoon and evening to spend doing girly things. I took her to the store to pick up a few birthday dinner items and then allowed her to pick out her birthday present. We first saw the games and puzzle aisle and she had 2 princess puzzles picked out and was on the lookout for another gift when she saw Tinkerbell's dress. I had a set limit in mind, so I gave her the option of getting the puzzles with an additional gift or she could choose the Tinker Bell costume alone.

While we were at the store and let her pick out a nail polish and stickers. We spent some girl time doing our nails and toes! It was actually fun getting to spend that one on one time with her and I felt like we both needed and were able to reconnect.

The final product. She had to have the ring on! And the cremlin is her "ballerina dress". She's adorable dancing, turning and spining around in her "ballerina dress".

She was helping me cook the Macaroni and cheese for her birthday dinner.

This was after I did her ballerina hair and put a little make-up on her. She was SO excited for Daddy to see her when he got home from work. She hid from him and locked the bathroom doors so that he couldn't come in until she was finished.

Birthday presents and dinner. We had roast with carrots and potatoes, corn, and baked macaroni and cheese. She ate SO much roast, no one could even believe it. In fact, she ate so much that it made her tummy sick. I was afraid that she was going to throw it all up so I had her lay on her right side on the couch (a trick that Jon's mom taught him and I now use as well) and within 15 minutes she was up and running again!

Opening the birthday gift from Mama, Daddy and Kayden. A Princess (surprised?), bath coloring set.

Keilana's birthday present from the Hadley family. Auntie makes awesome 3-D cakes and volunteered to make this beautiful Cinderella cake with a real Cinderella doll that Keilana pulled out when we were ready to eat it. Mm.

The family photo with all of her goodies. She recieved make-up (mostly lip glosses), the Princess bath coloring set, Tinker Belle Costume, Cinderella Doll, Princess jewelry box, Cinderella and Snow White magic wands, and a butterfly sleeping bag. I think she scored quite nicely!

Birthday Bowling!

Okay, so we didn't get to go bowling ON her birthday, although, we tried. We got to the lanes too late and they were all full with an hour wait. And with 4 hungry, partially tired kids, that just was NOT going to work. We did go bowling the following Thursday for her birthday, but my camera's batteries were dead and the memory card was full. So these pictures are actually of her first time bowling a couple weeks prior.

Aren't those bowling shoes so tiny and cute?!

Still no Christmas posts, eh? ;) I love this post about Lana's birthday. I know she had a great day and enjoyed her Mommy time! She looked absolutely adorable and cracked me up eating so much roast (especially for a girl who doesn't like meat)! I'm glad she decided she wanted to go bowling for her party. We had a great time! Congratulations on the BIG 4 Miss Keilana Ann!
