I'm not looking forward to the extremely hot summer months to come but I have to admit it is so nice to get out and enjoy the lovely spring days. The kids are enjoying getting out as well after being couped up in the house through the winter. Kayden has become efficient with buttons and has mastered Keilana's 4-wheeler. He absolutely loves it and before I knew it was taking off down the hill beside our house. It was so funny! Kayden is also cutting his molars and says Mama now! Whew, finally!
(Left) Last night when I went to check on Kayden, this is the way I found him. It was rather warm in the house from the heat of the day and I guess he was a little hot and all sprawled out. Usually, I find him bundled up with his knees and hands tucked underneath him. (Right) Who can find the monkey? This is what I mean by Kayden is coming into his "boyhood". He and Keilana were hanging out in the corner by the t.v. and when I looked up, there was Kayden, just hanging out in his nook and cranny.
The first video is funny to me. What I wasn't able to finish recording was him taking off after he got his snack from his sister. The second was when he went down the hill beside our house. They are short because I ran out of room on my memory card.
A funny story about Keilana today. I was actually working on this post and watching one of my LMN movies while she and Kayden were taking a nap. A commerical was on that was showing a lady in one of those sling shot thingies and all of a sudden I hear Keilana, "Mommy! That looks like fun!" She had just woken up from her nap, wandered out of her room and saw that on t.v. --it caught me off guard and made me laugh!

Haha - You are a funny boy Kayden!
How cute! Kayden looks like he has really grown up a lot in the past couple of months.
hey vanessa, in response to your question about the photos, I used windows live writer and I guess that was just the default. And, wow, I still can't believe how old your kids are getting? Are we really getting older too?
He he! Such a cute boy! I like the way you do his hair! Funny lil' monkey!
Very cute and fun! we can't wait until our little girl grows up so we can interact with her more, but then at the same time we love our tiny baby!
by the way, where do you get your backgrounds for the blogs?
I love the videos! He is so cute walking. I love the nook and cranny, I wonder what Avan will find.
