Come to find out, Kayden isn't getting his 2 front teeth but 4 top teeth! Yikes. Bless his heart, his gums are SO swollen and he's had a hard time sleeping, which, also means that I've not been getting any sleep. Last night I think I got 4 1/2 hours maybe 5. He was also running a fever of 102.9 and couldn't breath well with a stuffy nose. The night before I got up with him twice and the night before that I was up with Kayden AND Keilana who had to pee 3 times during the night! Yeah, Daddy gave her a whole glass of milk right before bed and then shared some more with her out of his cup and about 45 mins before that she had a lot of water AND he didn't have her go potty before she went to bed to boot! I'm surprised the kid didn't pee all over herself.
Anyway, Keilana took 2 years to get ALL of her teeth and she still doesn't have her 2 year molars--it was a nightmare. At least with Kayden were kickin some hiney getting in 4 at one time. When I found out I was pregnant with Kayden, Jon and I were talking and I found myself making requests with the new baby. 1--He would be a good sleeper (we just now have gotten to the point where Keilana will sleep through the night w/o waking up several times crying), 2--Would have a laid back personality and was easy going 3--Last but certainly not least, a good teether that wouldn't take 2 years to get all his teeth. Well, Heavenly Father granted me with all three things. He was ever so generous, knew I needed it and it's such a blessing! Anyway, a fact known since the beginning of time: When you become a mom you lose the concept of quality sleep and learn to get it when you can!
