This weekend we took a little bit of a ride to Ellijay, GA (about an hour North) to participate in a couple of Fall festivities. Our fi
rst stop was a Hillcrest Orchard where we always get the best apple cider, apples, apple pie, and apple fritters, although the apple pies weren't that great this year, a little disappointing. Cute story of an interesting adventure we had with Keilana and going potty (seems to topic of the year with me lately). So, for some ridiculous reason, there is only one bathroom to the place and the line was backed up almost to the entrance of the building. Okay, so I'm being a little dramatic but Wendy h
ad to wait about 30 minutes in line. About 5 minutes before arriving to the orchard, Keilana had told me that she needed to go "poops" so I had her go potty with Auntie because I was NOT about to stand in that line. Well, she never went. Probably 15 minutes later she came up to me and said she needed to go peepee's. Yikes, back to the long line again where we waited for 15 minutes. I got in there and the bathroom was absolutely horrid and stunk to high heavens! So we get in there and she wouldn't go, I begged, I pleaded. She started to get a little antsy wanting down and whining she didn't want to go. I asked her why not and she said, "it's yucky in here." haha-good girl. I gave her the choice of going potty on the toilet or outside with Daddy's help and she chose outside with Daddy. So Jon held her up to go pee--my good ole' country girl using the great outdoors. Well it wasn't 15 minutes later that she had to go #2. Could we please get all of this done and over with? For crying out loud. There was no place inconspicuious enough for her to do her buisness in the great out doors so I put one of Kayden's diapers on her and told her to use that. Yeah, that's the way to get her confused on potty training. She started crying that she need to go but complaining about the diaper and asking for her panties. Well, off we went to look for a nice spot off the side of the road since she wouldn't use the toilet. Gotta do what you gotta do! At least we know that Keilana would rather do her calls of nature outside, and does it well, than in a smelly bathroom.

Anyway, our next stop was Burt's Pumpkin patch where the kids were in hog heaven! You can see that in the picture that I took of Keilana, pure excitement. They ran up and down the aisles and chased each other in and out of these huge pumpkins. Lana and Daddy even played hide and go seek.
After about an hour of them playing and picture taking, we were choosing
our pumpkins to take home and carve. These pumpkins ranged from about $80-$3. We got a small one that we could carve and she picked out her very own baby pumpkin to take home. Keilana played so hard, that once again, we had barely got on the road before she was out like a light. Kayden himself had a good time and also feel fast asleep. By this point it was dinner time and the adults were ready to eat (meaning Mom, Dad, Wendy & Billy) so we found this hole in the wall just down the streeth a bit. We ordered some BBQ that wasn't much to speak of but food nonetheless. We enjoyed our meal outside, and in peace & quiet since all the kids were out. They were so exhausted that they stayed asleep during dinner which was for about 2 hours and starting waking up as we were getting ready to go home.

Lana is so funny that she wouldn't "go" in the stinky bathroom! And...props to Jon for being a good daddy, helping her do her business! That made me laugh! Glad you had a fun time!
Wow huge pumpkins! That is so cool; all those festivals, gosh I miss out on so much back in the states. I want to someday visit you guys in the fall and hit all those fun festivals in the near future.
