I didn't want to give in, but gas is eating us alive and this is such an easy alternative for the summer season. I'm quite paranoid about him commuting to Marietta/Atlanta on this but his hours are such that he won't have to deal with much traffic. Thank goodness! He's in absolute Heaven with this thing. I can just feel his excitement each time he gets on to ride, or a fellow biker "waves" to him. If you aren't aware of this mutual gesture, keep an eye out as your drive around town. I wasn't aware that scooters aren't included in this pasi salute but apparently, if you choose to scoot around town, you are an outcast.
Lana wasn't sure of catching a ride with her Daddy, but I could see she was itchin' to give it a go. Knowing he's new at this, her response was, "What if he lets us fall?". ha! Out of the mouth of babes. So, with a little bit a reassurance from her Daddy that he had it under control, and a promise to go slow, she saddled up, kicked back in the safety of her Daddy's arms, and enjoyed the ride with nothing but grins. After 15 minutes of cruising the 'hood, we had to pry her off of it.
I'll be praying extra hard each night to keep my sweetheart safe!
