Just to name a few things that I love he is doing at this age:
- His higher pitched girly giggle. SO CUTE!
- The face he makes when he is shy and not trying to smile.
- Though annoying and a lot of work, how he changes his undies every 2-3 hours. I actually just keep letting him change out between 2-3 pairs. He also does this with 3 shirts and his spider-man costume. His 4 favorite shirts are: Light-up spider man, light-up firetruck, spider-man PJ top, and his long sleeve Lightining McQueen shirt.
- He's SO loving and cuddly. He will still grab my cheeks with his little chubby hands and pull me in close for a smooch. He'll wrap his arms around my neck and say, "I love you so much, Mommy."
- He enjoys running around without any pants on but I'm sure that will change as the cooler weather is coming and the temp. in the house is dropping.
- He's so cute to help me vaccum and loves doing it. Today he went all the way in the basement to help me vaccum the second level. Not only that but he didn't want any help from the "bigger" vaccum. There was a toy rock in the middle of the floor and in his way so he calls to lana, "Nana, come and get this rock! Come and get it, it's in the way." I just chuckled to myself since he tends to get embarrassed when someone laughs at him.
- Plays with the old pacies and pretends. I thought this would be a bad thing but it's not. He just has them in his mouth for a short time then throws it down. Mostly when he and Lana pretend to be babies or puppies. I don't understand the puppy thing but whatever works!
Helping Mama vaccum. By the way, this is ONE of his 4 shirts he enjoys changing into throughout the day. Hope he outgrows that soon and isn't something that is foretelling the future.
He decided to try out the big one but it was too heavy.
A little while ago, as I was working on something in the office, Kayden came up to me to put these PJ's on him. I said they were too big, a 5T in fact! However, my stubborn, determined little boy decided that they were going on his body. I heard him struggle for a good 10 minutes and then came back to me frustrated, out of options, and tangled up. It was quite amuzing. He was a good sport to let me get it at EVERY angle. And I kept it a G-rated blog.

After his obvious struggle with the size 5 PJ's, I finally gave in because I felt sorry for him and didn't want him to feel defeated, so I helped him put them on. Then he started playing peek-a-boo with me from behind the door. I am so in love with this kid when he's like this. Yes, I'll admit it, his temper tantrums make him less appealing at the moment but we get past them.
Such a cute picture of him. THAT'S my sweet little boy right there. How could you NOT resist him?!

What a nut...I'm glad the pacifier thing didn't turn into a big problem. His shy smiling face is one of my favorites too. And he ALWAYS does it for Auntie! :)
LOVE the censored picture by the way. haha
Kayden you are so stinkin' cute!!! I see you are still enjoying your vacuum cleaner Papa and I got you for Christmas last year. I know, you just can't wait until you are big enough to use that big one :)I guess till then the little one will have to do. I sure do LOVE you little guy! You make our family very happy. (But please, lighten up on those "get YOUR way" sessions--less of those would be good :) LOVE ya, Nanny
