Spookily Fantastic

We had a great Halloween! My sister and I prepared a yummy and festive spooky dinner that included: Pumpkin Burgers, Mummy Dogs, Mummy Mouths, Banana Bug, Witches Brew, and Graveyard Pudding Dessert. The pictures are on my sisters camera but I'll post those as soon as I get them! Both of our days were unexpectantly hectic so our dinner started late and we were a little late getting out to do some trick-or-treating. It worked out okay though because after an hour the kids are typically worn out and ready to enjoy the fruits of their labor (or lack thereof). Jon and I left left the kids with Aunty and Uncle (thanks Billy and Wendy!!!) around 9:00 pm to attend a farewell party to one of his co-workers that is leaving the company and moving to Washington. At first, upon arriving, we weren't so sure we should have left the kids to attend such a party where we barely knew anyone; but the night turned around and ended up as an enjoyable evening out as a couple.

Totally posing it up for the camera, ON HER OWN. She's trained.

Kayden was SO tired and barely lasted the hour spent trick-or-treating. Wendy said that after they got home and were going through their candy, he just sat in one spot with a blank stare on his face. He started whining a little, so Uncle took him upstairs to put him in bed and within 5 minutes he was out! Poor Buddy. Anyway, this look he is giving was directed towards a lot of commotion and noise going on across the street. Some guy with a mask had a chainsaw and was chasing people up and down the street with it.

In my opinion, the most perfect Halloween picture ever. This is one of my favorites taken throughout the entire holiday.

The rear of the gang trick-or-treating.

Front view of our Trick-or-Treaters: Tyler is T-Rex (and don't mistake it either!), Kayden is a skeleton, AKA, Buddy's Bones (we call Kayden buddy quite often), Keilana is our princess of course, specifically Sleeping Beauty, and Allison, our little kitty cat.

That was a fun dinner! How cute of Lana to still talk about it. I love the coin she termed for it - "spookily." Tyler hasn't said anymore about it, but he did ask me for more "Spider Juice" and loves to use his placemat he made.
