Mother's Day
It was peaceful day. Since we had 8:30 am church there wasn't any "special" breakfast that was able to be prepared. We did well to get the kids fed! Jon did let me sleep in an extra 15 minutes! Every little minute counts. Jon spoke in sacrament and did a very good job. He talked about 3 mothers from the scriptures and then started to talk his own mom. He couldn't help it, a few tears were shed. Then he continued on to mention sweet things about me--so that was a nice gift to me. He helped out a little extra with the kids, got both completely ready for bed! That was nice I have to say. My sister and I surprised our own mother with a dinner that we took over to her. She thought that she was going to have to do a little cooking but was grateful when she saw everything was prepared already. Hope everyone had a super Mother's Day as well.
