More Fun At The Fair!

Since our last trip to the fair a month ago, all I have heard is "I want to go the ferris wheel and ride the cars". This was our last chance to hit the fair up before it left town so we packed up and headed out for the 45 minute ride to the ferris wheel. She was thrilled to be there and so was Daddy because this was the first time he was able to see Keilana ride the rides. She refused to get on them when we went as a family a couple of weeks ago. But this time she got on every single ride she could, including the sky buckets! Her and Tyler had such a great time and after 4 1/2 hours of riding, waking, and exploring, we were ALL ready to hit the trail and head home. Keilana didn't even make it 5 minutes in the car and she was out cold.

Auntie Wendy and Daddy even helped themselves to a thrill ride. This is NOT something I get my kicks off of. I enjoy roller coasters and some rides, but not hanging in the air for what seems like minutes, anticipating the fall, dropping at a hundred MPH and then having my stomach up in my throat. No thanks! My sister first offered for me to ride with her--tempting but I'll pass. Billy isn't a big fan of rides so that only left Jon and he was all for it. Yeah, have fun!

Kayden was SUCH a good boy. He slept a lot of it and just hung out in the stoller or the maya and took in the sights. Maybe next year he'll be able to participate in some of the rides, although he was able to get in on the adventure of the sky buckets. He loved it! I was getting a little paranoid and had a death grip on him because he kept wiggling so much and trying to pull out of my arms to stand up and lean over to look at the excitement down below. Yikes!

Tyler spotted the Monster truck and HAD to ride, in fact, he "drove" 3 times and Keilana "drove 2 times. She wasn't as into it as he was but still had fun nonetheless. By the time it was over, our pockets were empty of quarters. The one ride Keilana wasn't fond of was the caterpillar roller coaster and you can see it on her face. She has a very concerned look on her face as if she is thinking, "will I make it off of this thing alive?". I admit that it was sort of loud and it jolted quite a bit. After she got off she still maintained the worried look but once I smiled and asked for a hi five for being brave she was all grins. I asked her if wanted to get back on it and of course her answer was NO.
There are a lot of pictures on this first entry because I had to show all the rides she went on! These are two other rides that she was excited about, especially the "fishy helicopter" or as she referred to it as.
