Jon was very fortunate in that he was volunteered to attend Kennesaw State University's Career Day, and the only first year staff auditor to do so! The following Monday he was recruited to assist in conducting interviews at Georgia State University down in Athens. Again, the only first year staff auditor to have this opportunity to do so. I can't get him to blog, otherwise, I'd have him tell you about his experience. I'm very proud of him though.
Well, to attend career day at KSU, he was instructed that he would need to buy a coke polo to represent the company. The day before he was to help out with career day, the kids and I drove down to where Jon's work is and then headed towards Atlanta to the Coca-Cola building. HUGE difference between the two companies I might add. These are our pictures from "lunch with Daddy". I wasn't able to take many because the kids were not being very well behaved and I had my hands full.
I don't know what happened to the kids but as soon as we entered the building they started acting like crazy hooligans! The kids and I had to be dropped off at the front entrance and wait while Daddy parked the car at the coke employee parking which was free. Coke employees get in without having to jump through hoops, while others have to REGISTER and THEN sign-in to permit entrance to the company. So this is where the kids and I waited for Jon. Like I said, the kids were acting like animals in the wild so I had to sit them down to take a "break" and Keilana wasn't too happy with me.
This is just such a beautiful picture of Lana that I had to post it. This was taken during her wild animal outburst, they both were all but jumping off the walls.
The Coke store. No one knew it but the Coke polar bear talks when you get up close to him. It totally freaked out both of the kids and neither one would take a picture without sitting ON our laps. Not beside us, not in front of us, but ON us. They did NOT want to touch the bear.
